Program Details:

This program is designed for Deaf Adults 18 years of age or older (some exceptions may apply) and is taught in American Sign Language. The purpose of the program is to increase independence, improve quality of life and assist students in becoming successful at work, life situations and within the community.

Program Services:

The program offers English literacy, numeracy, basic life skills and pre-employment coaching. Instruction is available at Literacy Basic Skills Levels 1 to 3. Upon completion of the program the client may choose to continue their education or begin a job search through The Canadian Hearing Society Employment Services Program.
