Program Details:

The Adult Education Department at BRCD has been teaching literacy since 1988. We strive to create a positive learning environment to help in the development of each deaf, deafened and hard of hearing learner academically, emotionally and socially.

Program Services:

There are two programs currently serving Deaf adults who are residents of Canada:

Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) for Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, convention refugee applicants, and convention refugees able to work on English and ASL at a high Level 1 or Level 2; funded by MTCU.

Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) for landed immigrants and convention refugees, funded by CIC
